GAP Adventures Reviews

I'm not all that cognizant of the greenness of travel, to be honest. This falls into the category of - as we get more affluent and are able to do more with our money, we reduce the impact of that consumption moderately. I'm still taking an airplane somewhere, I'm still eating in restaurants, and they're still building these destinations for tourists, right?

The vacation in Isla Holbox, Mexico, was a real thrill, though. The primary benefit of using GAP Adventures is, if you will, in their editorial function. Their expertise in choosing "adventures" that like-minded people might like to enjoy, a bit off the beaten track. Even with the topnotch quality, value, interest, etc. of the travel venue itself, we did have some minor quibbles about the quality of customer service. They actually seemed to make it difficult to buy, and were rather indifferent to some of the logistics we'd face at the other end. I will chalk that up to growing pains. In any case, I teamed my travel agent's support with their package and was able to get enough reassurance and information.
