Introduces Flux a line of modular office furniture designed from start to finish for sustainability and low impact on the environment during the products entire life cycle. The materials chosen were selected as well as for typical eco-values but also for durability, ability to be logically refurbished and recycling value. Plastic use is kept to a minimum with no PVC used. There is no painting or wood finishing process performed on any materials. Only water based adhesives are used that emit no VOC’s and all wood products used are formaldehyde free. Flux was designed for minimal manufacturing processes with only cutting, shaping and drilling being necessary. No welding is required with all connections attaching with mechanical connectors joined during the installation process. All products are shipped flat packed and in a manner to take-up as little space as possible. Flux’s design allows for the furniture to broken down to its basic components/materials to allow for easy recycling or refurbishing.
Natural Space has a cradle to cradle policy where the company will buy back any of its products at the end of the products usefulness.
Flux features recycled content aluminum frame system and FSC certified multi-ply plywood work tops and cabinets, Greenguard certified laminates, Forbo Marmoleum ® made from natural materials and recycled content fabrics that are also recyclable.
