Great book...really teaches you a lesson about life and the environment

I use the Lorax to teach the Economics unit in Grade 8 geography. It is an awesome way to demonstrate an economic system as well as how a short-sighted approach to making money can completely drain a natural resource and all of the organisms related to that resource. I read this book to my 3 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old too. Hopefully at their young ages, they too can learn some valuable lessons.

A fantastic bedtime story for your kids. This book had a big impact on me as a kid.
